MHCP is a project that travels to different locations like a circus, growing a little with each stop. Herbman is a human-shaped herb #garden. Herbs are planted on Herbman’s body according to their effects: for example, #herbs that aid digestion are planted in the stomach area, and herbs that work to relieve shoulder stiffness are planted in the shoulder area. In this way, Herbman acts as a kind of herb dictionary. Just by looking at it, people can learn which herbs work for their trouble spots. They plant herbs that grow naturally in the location, so that herbs are constantly changing, and a site-specific Herbman is born in each area. Various teas and dishes made from #medicinal herbs are offered at the medicinal herb café constructed from a renovated container

MHCP è un progetto che viaggia in luoghi diversi come un circo, crescendo un po' ad ogni tappa. Herbman è un #giardino di erbe aromatiche con forma umana. Le #erbe vengono piantate sul corpo di Herbman in base ai loro effetti: ad esempio, le erbe che aiutano la digestione sono piantate nella zona dello stomaco e le erbe che lavorano per alleviare la rigidità della spalla sono piantate nella zona della spalla. In questo modo Herbman agisce come una specie di dizionario delle erbe. Solo guardandolo, le persone possono imparare quali erbe sono utili per i loro problemi di salute. The Kaplankaya Marina isn’t really a #marina, it’s a #park within the stunning Aegean #landscape. Approaching the design of this project the challenge was how to create space whilst having minimum impact on the site. The natural #beauty of the environment is the main attraction here and they wanted to preserve and enhance it, not to compete with it. The #traditional, low-tech methods of working the land for agricultural use were respectful of the ground to ensure long-term #sustainability of food production for the local population. They took inspiration from the subtlety of these interventions and set about to define a language of landscaping rather than structural architecture, that would cultivate the cultural and logistical activity of a contemporary marina

La marina di Kaplankaya non è proprio un porto turistico, è un #parco all'interno dello splendido #paesaggio dell'Egeo. Approcciando questo progetto, la sfida verteva su come impostare lo spazio con un impatto minimo sul sito. La #bellezza naturale dell'ambiente è qui l'attrazione principale e hanno voluto preservarla e valorizzarla, evitando di competere con essa. I metodi tradizionali di lavorazione della terra per uso agricolo erano rispettosi del suolo per garantire la #sostenibilità a lungo termine della produzione alimentare per la popolazione locale. Hanno preso ispirazione dalla delicatezza di questi interventi e hanno iniziato a definire un linguaggio paesaggistico piuttosto che architettonico, che potenziasse l'attività culturale e logistica di un porto turistico contemporaneo

150 Charles creates a vision of weaving new development into the natural and historic environment of the West Village. Architecture and #landscape are crafted to evoke a scale and texture characteristic of the neighborhood. The project asserts that new growth can thoroughly integrate nature into the built environment. Integral to the experience of the building, 150 Charles has over 40.000 square feet of landscape space distributed over eight floors through expansive rooftops, public and private terraces and intimate courtyards. The varying microclimates required a resilient #planting palette capable of thriving in inhospitable environments. These palettes provide a lush and beautiful backdrop for the enjoyment of residents and balance private and public space throughout

150 Charles crea una visione per tessere un nuovo sviluppo nell'ambiente naturale e storico del West Village. L'architettura e il #paesaggio sono ideati per evocare una scala e una texture caratteristiche del quartiere. Il progetto afferma che la nuova crescita può integrare completamente la natura nell'ambiente costruito. Integrale all'esperienza dell'edificio, 150 Charles dispone di oltre 3715 m2 di spazio paesaggistico distribuito su otto piani attraverso ampi tetti, terrazze pubbliche e private e cortili intimi. I microclimi variabili richiedevano una tavolozza di piantagione resiliente in grado di prosperare in ambienti inospitali. Queste piante forniscono uno sfondo lussureggiante e piacevole per il divertimento dei residenti e bilanciano lo spazio pubblico privato e pubblico
