Andolaccio Park

by / tag , ,

The project concerned the entire reconfiguration of the park of the Andolaccio peninsula on the shores of Lake Bilancino for an area of 32 hectares, where the construction of an arena for shows capable of accommodating more than 20,000 people is planned.

The landscape theme has structured the entire project, as it’s a green naturalistic area; the arena has been conceived as an artificial hill which, during the non-active months of the festival, can be well integrated into the park and with a low visual impact.

In support of the arena, all the necessary equipment has been studied, namely: a new access road with an annexed parking area with low visual impact (capable of accommodating coaches for spectators), a campsite, a small wooden building defined as Porta park, tree-lined avenues, two secondary arenas, these built overlooking the lake and a series of “community squares”: circular platforms where you can play sports and relax.

In the park there are two large pylons of overhead power lines, which have been integrated into the landscape thanks to the design of the greenery with gathering spaces and trees.
