The site is run by a group of locals coordinating opposition to the wind farm. We're not opposed to wind power in general. We agree with the need for renewable energy. However, we do not believe this is a suitable site for two main reasons: (1) it will damage an important landscape which needs preserving (2) the site is very close to Kirkby Lonsdale and surrounding villages
